Meet the Moons
Proudly locally owned and operated specialising in drainage and earthworks in the Bay of Plenty, Rob and Kerrie Moon launched Moon Drainage in 2009. Purchasing a truck and a digger they ran the business from home, Kerrie concentrating on the administration and Rob doing the drainlaying.
In 2012 they expanded into earthworks and changed the name slightly to incorporate the new civil side of the business. At this point they moved into an office workshop and yard in Mount Maunganui and since this point haven’t looked back. They now own a fleet of vehicles and construction machinery and employ a large team.
Both Rob and Kerrie are keen sports people and they run the business utilising the same discipline and commitment that they’ve used over their sporting backgrounds, which receives rave reviews from customers who return time and time again.
Giving back to the local community is important to both Rob and Kerrie and they do this through sponsorship of many sports teams and local charities.
