Why look to the Moon?
HEALTH & SAFETY
Every worker is entitled to go to work and return home. Our Health & Safety standards are second to none. Our staff are Site Safe Passport holders & also have Confined Space Entry Tickets and first aid certificates.
SUSTAINABILITY & SOCIAL IMPACT
We recycle and reuse materials where possible. We monitor and find ways to improve our energy and water useage across all projects. We appreciate the importance of good public relations with councils and minimising inconvenience whilst our work is undertaken.
THE BEST PEOPLE
We don’t hire just anyone. Our guys are experts in their specialist areas with relevant compliance training. They’re used to engaging with both the public and the client so they’re easy to approach on site. This reflects well on any client we are working for.
Our crew has different areas of expertise from commercial drainage to residential, civils and earthworks. We get the right fit for your specific job.
Our track record is excellent and we continue to keep it that way. Quality assurance is essential and all jobs are completed to the best industry standard.
TIME & BUDGET
We work to appropriate time frames and of course budget without compromising our quality.
Meet the Moons
Proudly locally owned and operated specialising in drainage and earthworks in the Bay of Plenty, Rob and Kerrie Moon launched Moon Drainage in 2009. Purchasing a truck and a digger they ran the business from home, Kerrie concentrating on the administration and Rob doing the drainlaying.
In 2012 they expanded into earthworks and changed the name slightly to incorporate the new civil side of the business. At this point they moved into an office workshop and yard in Mount Maunganui and since this point haven’t looked back. They now own a fleet of vehicles and construction machinery and employ a large team.
Both Rob and Kerrie are keen sports people and they run the business utilising the same discipline and commitment that they’ve used over their sporting backgrounds, which receives rave reviews from customers who return time and time again.
Giving back to the local community is important to both Rob and Kerrie and they do this through sponsorship of many sports teams and local charities.
